Our client wanted to utilize Resource Central and their Garden in a Box program in their project, so we incorporated the perennials from the packages that they selected into the overall design. All of the existing sod was removed and replaced with bermed planting areas for changes in height, dry stream beds with moss rock boulders and different sizes of rock and cobble, and wood mulch areas to soften the stone and add to the interest of mixed materials.
In addition to the Garden in a Box perennials, we incorporated additional ornamental grasses, shrubs, evergreens for winter interest and a dwarf flowering crabapple. A flagstone stepper path was added for the homeowner to walk through the yard, and landscape lighting was added throughout to tastefully illuminate the space at night.

“Catherine Wells was our designer, and she is top notch. She contacted us in a timely fashion, did the research we asked her to do regarding what works best in our yard and provided thoughtful alternatives as well. The estimate was fair, and the installation was timely and professional. The follow up with Catherine was outstanding.”
